Naseeb Connections: Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct

Welcome to Naseeb Connections. By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending any in-person event hosted by Naseeb Connections, you ("Attendee," "User," "you") agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to register for or attend our events.
Part 1: Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility & Registration
Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to register for or attend any Naseeb Connections event.
Marital Status: By registering, you represent and warrant that you are legally single, unmarried, and not currently separated.
Bona Fide Intentions: Events are intended strictly for individuals seeking marriage-minded connections. Commercial solicitation, networking for business, or misrepresenting your intentions is strictly prohibited.
2. Nature of Service & Limitation of Scope
Naseeb Connections operates solely as an event host and introductory social platform. We facilitate single-gatherings in safe, respectful environments. Naseeb Connections is not a licensed employment, psychological, or guaranteed matchmaking service, and we make no guarantees regarding compatibility, marriage outcomes, or participant suitability.
3. No Criminal Background Checks & User Responsibility
No Screening: You acknowledge that Naseeb Connections does not conduct criminal background checks, sex offender registry screenings, or financial verifications on event attendees.
Personal Investigation: It is your sole responsibility to exercise caution, perform due diligence, and independently verify the character, background, and identity of any individual you meet or interact with during or after an event.
4. Payments, Final Sales, and Cancellation Policy
All Sales Final: All ticket purchases, registration fees, and event reservations are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including non-attendance or personal changes of schedule.
Force Majeure & Event Rescheduling: If an event is canceled or postponed due to weather, natural disaster, venue emergency, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, ticket fees will be credited toward a future event. Cash refunds will not be issued.
Venue Security Details: To maintain security and privacy, exact venue addresses for in-person events are disclosed to paid and approved participants up to 48 hours prior to the event date.
5. Venue & Third-Party Release
Naseeb Connections leases or utilizes third-party facilities, community halls, and venues (including local masjids, restaurants, and outdoor spaces). Attendees agree to hold harmless both Naseeb Connections and the host facility from any claims, slip-and-fall injuries, property loss, or hazards arising from venue defects or third-party actions during the event.
6. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending our events and interacting with other participants, both during the event and in any subsequent off-site communications, dates, or meetings.
Liability Cap: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naseeb Connections, its founder, staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your attendance. This includes, without limitation, physical injury, emotional distress, theft, property damage, or disputes resulting from interactions with other attendees.
7. Media & Photography Consent
Naseeb Connections may occasionally capture general ambiance photography or videography during events for social media and marketing purposes. By attending, you grant permission for your likeness to be used in promotional materials unless you explicitly notify our staff in writing prior to the event start time. (Note: Individual guest profiling/close-ups will always be handled with privacy in mind).
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Naseeb Connections, its founder, employees, and volunteers from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, costs, losses, or legal fees arising out of your breach of these Terms, your conduct at an event, or your interactions with any other attendee.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal claim or dispute arising out of your participation in a Naseeb Connections event must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
Part 2: Event Code of Conduct
1. Islamic Etiquette (Adab)
Naseeb Connections is committed to offering a respectful, intentional, and Halal-conscious environment. All attendees are expected to uphold high standards of Islamic courtesy and respect throughout the event.
2. Community Standards & Boundaries
Civil Interaction: Respectful, courteous, and purposeful conversation is required. Harassment, pressure, inappropriate language, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
Physical Boundaries: Strictly no physical contact between genders is permitted during events.
Privacy & Media Restrictions: Taking photos, videos, or audio recordings of other participants during events—or capturing profile details without consent—is strictly prohibited to protect community privacy.
3. Post-Event Contact & Facilitation
Our team is available on-site during events to assist with formal introductions. To respect privacy boundaries, Naseeb Connections does not share contact details or facilitate introductions after an event has concluded unless explicitly agreed upon prior. Please ensure mutual contact details are exchanged directly during the event if there is interest.
4. Right of Removal
Naseeb Connections reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to immediately remove any individual from an event or ban them from future gatherings—without a refund—if their behavior violates this Code of Conduct or compromises the safety, comfort, or privacy of others.
